During Rum Week they will be pairing Mauritian Rums namely Gold of Mauritius and Mauritius Club with our American regional food.

Caribbean Fresh hands-on cookery class with Rum

Looking for that added flavour and flair in your cooking? Let Trinidad born Shivi Ramoutar share with you her own twist on this island cuisine that will bring fresh and vibrant flavours to your table and add that Caribbean zing to your cooking. These tropical inspired salads and grills are perfect to throw on your barbeque but just as simple to make indoors. Together you will make ‘Paradise Prawns’, ‘Blackened Corn Salad’, ‘Jerk Pulled Pork and Watermelon Salad’, ‘Tamarind dressed Sweet Potato and Beetroot Salad’ and to round things off you will have a cocktail demonstration from a Havana Club ambassador.

Rum Masters Spirited Dinner.

Taking place as part of the first ever Rum Experience Week, where leading bars, chefs, distillers, brands and rum lovers have curated a week long series of events that will take over the capital from 12-18 October. Headed up by Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell, the seven day series aims to raise awareness of the spirit like never before and welcomes both rum newcomers and the discerning drinker to embrace the vibrant culture of rum and explore new ways to enjoy a tipple.

Joined by the biggest experts from the world of Rum, Bourne & Hollingsworth are delighted to invite guests to while away a Tuesday evening sampling four unique and bespoke rums, specially created by master distillers for the first ever Rum Experience Week.

The evening’s engaging hosts consist of some of the worlds most renowned ambassadors; David Morrison from Appleton Rum, Richard Seale from Foursquare, Luca Gargano from Velier Rums, Luis Figueroa from Pampero Rum and Ian Burrrell.

The session will last for 45 minutes, after which, guests will have the ability to mingle and talk one-on-one with the ambassadors, whilst quaffing charismatic B&H cocktails in the charming surroundings of our new basement bar, Below & Hidden.

We are also offering an intimate dining experience for 10 lucky rum fiends with the ambassadors after the tasting in The Greenhouse at Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings.

Tickets are priced at £20 for the tasting and £50 with the addition of a three course dinner.

The tasting runs from 7pm - 8pm, the dinner from 8.30pm.
